How
to Obtain Credit Reports, Eviction Reports, Criminal Reports,
and Background Checks
To obtain a credit report fax
us a rental application signed by the prospective tenant authorizing
a credit report to 1-800-352-4588. Please make sure that the
application includes the name, present address -including
city, state and zip, phone number and the social security
number of the prospective tenant. You may use our free
rental application (see icon below), or your own application
that authorizes a credit report. Please indicate which type
of services you are requesting on your cover sheet. Please
give us your full home address (we may only accept P.O. box
numbers for credit card billing purposes) and your home telephone
number for verification purposes.
If you are using us for the first
time please include a copy of your driver's license, credit
card number and the 3 digit card number (CV on the back of
the card-for billing and identification purposes), a signed
copy of the Subscriber Agreement (you may fill this out online
or print it and fax it to us at 1-800-352-4588), proof of
ownership of your rental property (examples are a deed, tax
record, Realtor license, or business license-please see specific
requirements listed on our Subscriber Agreement), a return
phone and fax number.
If you are a member of the association
you may set up an account to pull your reports online for
24 hour access to credit reports, criminal reports and eviction
reports. To set up an account to pull reports online please
fax us a copy of your drivers license, fill out a copy of
the Subscriber Agreement form and choose the option to pull
reports online, and fax them to us along with proof of ownership
of at least one rental property (Please see exact requirements
for proof listed on our Subscriber Agreement). Subscriber
Agreement forms are available below.
Due to the recent increase in identity
theft cases we must require the above documentation for all
new customers. The National Association of Independent Landlords
is a strong supporter of the Federal Trade Commission's "Deter,
Detect, and Defend Campaign".
(Call us at 1-800-352-3395 for further information).
